Summary
She woke up in a hospital bed under the name HYacinth Doe. Doctor Bruce Banner told her she had been rescued from a HYDRA facility, along with evidence that their scientists had ripped her out of her universe and into theirs, granting her healing powers in the process.
The problem is, the Avengers aren't even *real* in her universe. Banner and all the others look like the actors that portray them, and even though Director Fury is gratified to hear he's just as badass where she comes from, she's not sure the others would feel the same. Her biggest challenge isn't actually being asked to join the Avengers, but figuring out how to hide her crush on her favorite character, Tony Stark. At first, that's not a problem--he doesn't trust her. It's when he doubles down on his theory about her origins that things get tricky.

The Vampire Ascendent has crossed a line.
