“He’s not— Mr Stark isn’t my father.”
Maybe there would’ve been a time that Peter would’ve internally cringed at that comparison— not out of embarrassment on Mr Stark’s behalf, of course, but on his own. On Earth, everyone knew Tony Stark. He was Iron Man. A billionaire. A genius.
And Peter . . . was just Peter. Spider-Man aside, Peter was nothing in comparison to Mr Stark. But Nebula didn’t know that. She didn’t know that Mr Stark was one of the most famous people in the world, or that Peter was just a kid from Queens. She just saw two people and made a mistake.
“Yondu wasn’t Quill’s father either,” Nebula spoke ominously, her voice sounding suddenly distant. “But he was.”

Palpatine was shaking. “Anakin, I told you it would come to this. I was right! The Jedi are taking over.”
Master Windu raised his weapon at the same time Anakin ignited his own lightsaber. In one swift movement he'd cut through the flesh of Windu’s arm as the man yelled in pain, his cries drowned out by the cackled laughter of the Sith Lord who’d suddenly regained all his strength.
Master Windu screamed in agonising pain as Anakin stumbled backwards, his lightsaber dropping from his hand as horror filled his bones.
The last thing he saw was Master Windu’s body being flung out the window with incredible force . . . and then everything went black.

Day 3
Anakin woke up back in bed with Padme. The chronometer by his side read that it was 06:00.
He was starting to believe that what he’d just seen had not been a dream.
Anakin finds himself stuck in a time-loop on the very day that changes his life forever.

Summary
“I feel lost."
“Lost . . . what do you mean?” Padme couldn’t help but frown, searching for any signs on her husband’s face that could give her an insight to what he meant. But Anakin was just frowning to the side, seeming conflicted about something. He seemed distant, his eyes filled with an emotion that the young wife couldn’t begin to describe.
How long had Anakin had this look in his eyes? Had she been oblivious to it before now or was this something new?
Anakin and Padme have a heart-to-heart when he admits to feeling lost and frustrated with the Jedi Council. With truths about his relationship with Palpatine coming to light, Padme fights to talk some sense into her husband.

Back To The Future and No Time Like The Present show a parallel universe perspective on Luke and Leia's determination to save their father from the Dark Side. Back To The Future sees them time travel to the Clone Wars, whilst No Time Like The Present shows what would've happened had they never time travelled.
Both can be read as a standalone.

I’m studying it for school and it’s got lots of angst potential - it causes severe, seizure like muscle spasms which can break the patient’s bones, but they’re conscious and fully aware of what’s happening. It also causes fever and lockjaw, and difficulty breathing. I’d love to see an angst fic where Peter has bad tetanus and Tony and co are looking after him whilst his symptoms get worse and worse.
