Summary
Jaskier gets jumped by a bunch of bandits, who happen to be so dumb as to stab him with an ancient artifact. When he wakes up, the bandits are slaughtered, and Jaskier has a new hunger. He decides he can't and won't live like this, and searches out a witcher to kill him when he's unsuccessful himself. Of course......he finds Geralt, or does Geralt find him?

When Jaskier wakes up, the light is uncommonly bright to his eyes, and he has to squint against it. He’s not sure he remembers going to sleep the previous night, and briefly accuses himself of gulping down the bottle of Toussainti wine he’d filched from the inn, leaving a few crowns in its place.He rubs his hands over his face, and realises that as he does so, the strange metallic scent that hangs in the air gets stronger. When he pulls his hands away to look at his palms, he stiffens. There are red stains on the skin, some of it dried and flaking in the creases.
It’s very definitely not wine.

Summary
Din Djarin needs a new ship.

One such job takes him to a planet with a volatile storm system to track down a double-crossing bounty hunter. What he doesn't know is that the bounty hunter is there to loot an ancient Jedi temple. What neither of them know is that someone else is also on the planet searching for the temple.

An alternate first meeting, canon-divergent version of events in which Din and Luke first meet on Tatooine. Then the Empire comes. Nine years pass until the events of S2E08 "The Rescue." Nine years in which Din Djarin believes that his husband is dead.

Summary
Boba's own hair has begun to grow back in, he’s recently discovered. It is a little patchy now, but as it gets longer, it will cover up the scars and the gaps. He pulls his hand through Din’s in the meantime and watches him shift his cheek against the bedclothes.
The galaxy has taught him the name for what he feels when he looks at him these days. It has also taught him that he is not allowed to have that thing.
If he does, it will be taken away.
(Boba and Fennec find each other and then Din, and Boba struggles to let himself have the kindness that comes his way.)

Yoda blinked at him like an aged turtle and then rolled his eyes. He set off to go find more frogs to terrorize on the edge of the school’s boundary without saying another word. He didn’t have to, Anakin’s jaw already ached with denial.
Obi-Wan slithered up behind him and rested some aggravating elbows on his shoulders.
“Sounds like Daddy wants to give a shovel talk,” he cooed.
(Anakin may be dead, but he's not letting Din Djarin ruin Luke's life on his watch.)

Summary
Under floating buildings are a series of blinking antennas, Din glances at them, only to assure they aren’t going to smack into the Crest, or restrict his escape any further. It takes a glance, then another one, to see the thing clinging to one of the blinking antennas. Din squints, feels his stomach fall as the thing, person, slips. Barely holding on, hanging upside down over an infinite drop. He’s shoving his helmet back over his face and steering his ship down, before Din can think better of it.
The wind howls past his ears as he leans out of a service hatch at the top of the Razor Crest. The ship is cruising, with the little ability it has to do that without a co-pilot or a droid. Din probably has a few seconds to get in and out.
“Hey!” Din’s voice is snatched by the wind, stolen right out of his lungs, but the person turns to look at him. “Let go!”
The man’s face is a mess of bruises and cuts. Blood has crusted along his forehead. Din can’t tell what color his hair is. It's so matted by blood, washed rusty in the Bespin evening. His lips part, hand flexing where it’s collapsed around metal.
“Let go,” Din says again, “I’ll catch you!”

Summary
All Luke can hear is the drip, drip, drip of the water falling from his soaking wet self, as he walks on the hardwood floor towards the desk in the hall.
Luke eyes the keys hanging behind the counter. No other guests.
He rings the bell and the silence is broken.
Luke hears a door fly open, and loud footsteps echo through the hall, like a stampede of elephants.
“Who the hell are you?!”
“Luke Skywalker. Nice to meet you.”
“What the hell are you doing in here?!”
Luke snorts.
“Checking in.”
“Checking-?”
“Into your B&B?” Luke holds up a dusty pamphlet.
“-we’re closed.”
If anyone asks, Luke Skywalker would tell them that he’s on a mission to see every lighthouse on the east coast. It’s more or less the truth, afterall.
His latest target is a lighthouse that’s on the grounds of an old Bed & Breakfast; where it’s reclusive proprietor is not very pleased to have a guest. That is, until he realises that Luke is also a teacher and can tutor his son, who for some unknown reason, cannot go into town.
Luke agrees with the arrangement, intent on unraveling every mystery he can… while hiding some secrets of his own.- Language:
