Summary
Robert has been on independent study since the death of his mother four years ago. His father pulled him out of school since he couldn't seem to keep a handle on his emotions -- he kept getting into fights and his grades were slipping. Now that he's returning for his junior year he's not expecting much. He'd never been particularly popular, and school politics meant nothing to him. He never expected to make any friends, and he certainly never expected to fall in love with the biggest asshole in the school. That's just his luck, it seems.

Summary
Pain.
That’s all Lucifer felt as he stumbled out of the hole in the ground left by Vox’s angelic war cannon. He attempted to joke, saying something along the lines of “Don’t go down there, it’s a place of pain,” though he didn’t know if he managed to get the words out before he collapsed.
White-hot pain seared through his head as it knocked against the ground. He was spent. The well of power he usually felt thrumming under his skin was strangely silent now. He groaned, trying desperately to stand up again.
If anyone saw him like this, if anyone got it into their head that he was weak… He didn’t know what would happen, but he didn’t want to find out.
He was about to resign himself to death before someone saved him in the nick of time. Now, Alastor is assigned to be his caretaker, and Lucifer was extremely unhappy about it. Maybe death would have been better than this personal Hell.
Or,
Lucifer is tired after the final battle against the Vees, and Alastor is coerced into taking care of him by a stressed-out Charlie. Neither of them enjoy it... at first-- though their feelings towards each other soon begin to change.
