Summary
Shepard made it...She made it to the beam...to the crucible. She made it to the weapon that was created with the combined efforts of every alien race in the galaxy to rid us of the Reapers.
Because of her we were all given hope, and a chance to have a future. A future without war...without the Reapers...a future together.
And as the arms to the crucible opened that hope was becoming a reality, but nothing happened.
The war continues on and so many lives have been lost and now those remaining few have been forced to realize that they may never know why the Crucible didn't fire.
They have been left to face an enemy that seems unstoppable and their chances of survival are minimal yet they push on.
They push on in order to live for one another. In hope that their is a chance for a future that so many will never see. In hope of being able to understand why Shepard never activated the weapon that was supposed to save their lives. And in hope of seeing their beloved Commander once more.
They will fight until there is no one left.
They fight so their story can be written in the stars

We are able to move on from the past while we dwell on the present, and put hope into our future. It is true that we can see the person that we are in our reflection, but not everything is what it seems.
