Shouto isn’t sure of a lot of things, but he thinks that he likes this: you, brazen and bold, unabashed and unashamed beneath the light of the world.
And, really, Shouto thinks that he would like to know it. This version of you.
But he thinks that, for now, this is enough.
When you're lost in the deep throes of spring and high off of dreams, an impulsive decision leads you to Japan’s renowned academy for heroics. It’s only after enough near-death experiences to last you a lifetime that you begin to thoroughly question your life choices. (UA may or may not have been the best one.)

Diavolo stepped closer, and Mammon felt his pulse spike, because isn't this a threat? Diavolo's been watching him, fuck! Mammon doesn't even know what he did. "I wish to court you."
For a moment, the world titled. Mammon could only stare, mouth hanging open. "….court? like, like dating? As in, you and me…?"
"As in," Diavolo Said gently, "I want you by my side. As my partner. My mate." he takes Mammon's hand into his.
Mammon's face went red all the way to the tips of his ears. He staggered back a step, nearly tripping over his own feet, only thing stopping him was Diavolo's hands that was holding his. "Wha? Are ya nuts?! You're the prince of Devildom! You can't just—ya don't—"
Diavolo didn't move closer, didn't push. He just held Mammon's gaze with a steady warmth that made it worse somehow. "I can, Mammon. And I am. I admire your spirit, your loyalty, your strength, even when you don't see it in yourself. I want you. Not anyone else, and I have for a while now."
