"As in," Diavolo Said gently, "I want you by my side. As my partner. My mate." he takes Mammon's hand into his.
Mammon's face went red all the way to the tips of his ears. He staggered back a step, nearly tripping over his own feet, only thing stopping him was Diavolo's hands that was holding his. "Wha? Are ya nuts?! You're the prince of Devildom! You can't just—ya don't—"
Diavolo didn't move closer, didn't push. He just held Mammon's gaze with a steady warmth that made it worse somehow. "I can, Mammon. And I am. I admire your spirit, your loyalty, your strength, even when you don't see it in yourself. I want you. Not anyone else, and I have for a while now."

Like crazy rich Asians dunked into a dark academia European royalty fiction that waltzed out of their Pinterest and into Hot Topic rich because HOLY SHIT. They’re pretty sure the hallways themselves are worth billions with their material value and the intricate designs carved into them. Not to mention the ARCHITECTURE, they wouldn’t fuck a building but they would definitely fuck that building.
Oh also there were lovely plants and other flora littering campus as well as the nice dude in the suit standing next to them with horns and wait horns-
