Summary
It’s been six years since the flag of King Fernando I was proudly raised over the ocean, heralding Iberia’s triumph over the Seaborn menace. The Church has demilitarised, the Inquisition (what remains of it) has been relegated to lonely lighthouses by the sea, and the monsters are no more. The world has moved on, and Irene has been left behind.
That is, until the locals report a strange and beautiful voice singing from the caves by the shore.

Instead, Frieren turned, pinned Aura with a frosty stare, and said a single word:

Summary
The girl sitting by the window is Japanese, about Lumine’s age, with long hair bleached platinum tied up by pink ribbon in a ponytail atop her head. Her fringe falls just short of her eyes that blink somewhat blearily up at Lumine, but still hold an entrancing shimmer that Lumine finds impossible to look away from. Even exhausted and dressed in an old oversized jumper and leggings, she’s the most beautiful person Lumine’s ever seen.
She offers Lumine a small smile, a little hesitant and perhaps slightly confused, which is what snaps Lumine out of her haze. God, how rude of her! Way to make a first impression on the person you will be squished up against for the next fourteen hours. The girl probably thinks Lumine is a right weirdo.
(or, Lumine falls hard for her seatmate on her flight to Japan and thinks holding hands for seven hours is prime flirting)

The Sangvis Ferry organization has been completely dominated by its androids, who are going out of their way to eliminate any human they find.
You are expected to do your best to end this war, while also treating the girls under you with the utmost respect and dedication.
Some of them might not have a correct idea on how a soldier is supposed to behave, though.
