A shrill wailing cut through the silence.
Tony’s foot hung in the air, mid-step.
He turned, likely too slowly for his line of work, thoughts suddenly silent. Too silent. Silent in the way it gets in full rooms: tense and heavy.
A few hesitant steps back into the dusty old building, following the sound like it was a distress siren or a trap or maybe both.
It wasn’t long till he spotted it.
How could he have missed it before?
OR
Tony stark accidentally acquires a super baby and suddenly has to grapple with both his trauma and his new, unwilling, role as single dad .

Stephen had to bite back a scoff, "I'm sorry, Peter, but even making everyone forget you exist won't be enough. Your very existence is the problem now. To fix this, we need to- I will need to erase you."
"What-what? What do you-"
"I'm sorry, Peter. If I had more time, maybe I could find another solution, but at our current state, all I could do, is make it so you never existed in our universe."
"Never exist? You mean, I-I'll die? Again?" Peter's voice trembled.
"You won't have to. I can send you to a different universe, one where Peter Parker- where Spider-Man has never existed. You won't have to die, you won't exist here anymore, but you can still live." Stephen chose to omit how low the success rate was. He wanted to give the kid hope.
"Live a good life, Peter."

She came up with an idea, a charity work : One and only one teen from the USA would be able to spend 1 day with Tony Stark. All across the country hundreds of thousands of applications were sent to SI. And only one reminded : Peter Parker, orphan, lives in Queens with his aunt, goes to midtown high school of technology on a scholarship. The perfect face to bust up Tony's public appearance.

There's a kid roaming around Gotham who looks eerily similar to one of their own. He has his nose, his smile, and his annoying ability of acrobatically removing himself from awkward situations.
So if the kid really is Dick's son, it only makes sense to bring him in, right? Peter's probably homeless, weirdly dusty, and yet strangely steadfast in his lie that his "guardian" is at home just asleep.
"He's just super tired from the trip. Passed out as soon as we got here actually. But he's at home waiting for me."
That has to be a lie. Right?
