Eddie had paused for moment, taking in Dustin’s face, studying his features, like it was the last time he’d ever get to.
“Good.”
It had felt so final. Dustin hadn’t realised that at the time. He’d felt weird after Eddie had said it but he couldn’t put his finger on why, but that was it. The finality of it. The goodbye he hadn’t even known he was receiving.

The question was so unexpected, it completely interrupted the erratic stream of thoughts swirling around in Logan’s mind, cutting right through all the noise.
Logan cast his eyes back to Kurt and saw genuine hurt in his face. It was the most visibly upset he’d been since he got here.
“What?”
“Who told you that you were the worst Wolverine?”

Logan had been struggling with guilt long before he ever joined Wade's timeline.
He'd known that a visit from a member of the X-Men was inevitable, but he was in no way prepared for it to actually happen. When it does, he is faced with an old friend who attempts to convince him to come home and relieves some of his suffering in the process.
Wade, as per usual, inserts himself into a conversation that had nothing to do with him and accidentally (possibly) becomes an X-Man in the process.

Laura Kinney was supposed to stay in the void. She was never supposed to see her father again. She'd watched him die and she'd been erased from existence and that was just how things were supposed to be. She'd long since accepted that.
But now she's back and she knows her dad is out there. So is Charles. Mutants have not been eradicated yet. There is still time to fix everything. Will she be able to do what needs to be done, or will she allow her fear to consume her?
OR: Laura has two dads now, technically. Plus whatever Wade is. In order to wrap her head around that, she takes a trip to the Xavier Institute to face her past and maybe just save mutantkind and the X-Men in the process.
