Summary
Taking place X years after the events of Cinderella Gray and Y years after some career events, Symboli Rudolf and now Air Groove have to contend with realizing just how much is still required to achieve their dream. Building a world of bliss for umamusume, a world free of pain, suffering, and sadness, is looking more and more difficult to achieve. There will always be more plates to spin, always another wrench thrown in. The fickle and violent line between dream and reality becomes more apparent and more violent both, and reality chafes against the dreams of every umamusume.
(WIP-- Largely practice and tone/character/situation setting at this time. Not a lot of actual happenings yet. I wanted to post anyway for potential feedback.)

In which the one who would be crowned Emperor proves why this Derby was declared over before it began.
Symboli Rudolf knows where she needs to be but one person always chafes against her: her own trainer. They haven't been able to see eye to eye on most things since her debut, aside from the fact that Rudolf needs to be pushing herself harder, and neither of them seem willing to give an inch. She feels she's outgrown her trainer like how an insect outgrows its cocoon.

And Rudolf shares with the love of her life a strange dream that she had long ago.
(I'm actually not sure if this would be considered Mature or Teen+. I removed all (I think) explicit sexual references and some undertones for the most part but its still a little horny and its' obvious where it's going)

Summary
The current era of horsegirl racing is one dominated by stallions, with mares relegated to being seen as second rate. As she enters her junior year, finally able to debut in the Twinkle Series, mare Air Groove gets the opportunity to join the Tracen Academy Student Council.
Joining Narita Brian, who she already dislikes, and the enigmatic stallion Symboli Rudolf, Air Groove vows to inspire others like her and reach the peak of Uma Musume. But that is easier said than done, and she finds herself in an uphill battle both on and off the turf. Her confidence wavers, her emotions toyed with and ignored, but Air Groove must press on. Before the weight of her vow threatens to send her crashing down.

one of the best and most emotional things I've read and one of the works that inspired me the most. The author has care for and knowledge of the Deep Horse Lore. I hollered out loud at least on two occasions and wept at least once, maybe twice. Rudolf is a bastard. I listened to Womanizer by Britney Spears on loop for a while when I finished one of the chapters and I doubt that was the author's intent.
An absolute roller coaster of emotions, and it isn't even done yet. Phenomenal.

Summary
Symboli Rudolf has turned her attention away from racing, and towards the goal of creating a better, brighter tomorrow for those that come after her. After ascending to the position of Student Council President at Tracen Academy, however, she must confront the reality that all is not quite as it seems for the undefeated Triple Crown winner, and that in order to achieve her dreams, she must open herself up to the realization that she deserves happiness, too. Thankfully, that realization may come in the form of her Vice President, Air Groove, who she herself is grappling with the pitfalls of a life post-retirement and the unyielding weight of legacy upon her shoulders.
