Summary
Living on the Earth now deemed "New Earth" by the Bats, Tim has to adjust to having a family slightly different than his old one. But things aren't nearly that simple. Huntress, Powerwoman, and Powerman were but the first to come from their Earth, and now Tim finds himself trapped in a plot he had hoped would never come to be.
Secrets not even Tim fully understands come to light, and the Bats find the need to separate in order to properly piece the puzzle together, but it means putting each of them at risk, and every step they take can lead to a trap that could cost their lives. Or their sanity.
Perhaps Dick's insistence that Tim make friends wasn't so misplaced after all.

His mouth fell open, and he snorted, which evolved into full-out laughter. ‘I’m sorry. Oh my god - friends?’
Diana felt a little hurt on Batman’s behalf. ‘Are you not his friend?'
He shook his head. ‘Did B really not say anything? I’m hurt. No, I’m not his friend. I’m his son.’
