Summary

His eventual downfall is imminent when two particular young girls, who have different situations surrounding them, get involved with the Phantom Thieves in order to steal his heart.

i see a phantom thief hifumi au and i jump at the chance to read it u dont understand
and this was a really REALLY good take on it! i always wondered where the hell hifumi's mom got the funding to rig her matches involving her with kaneshiro is a good concept but also very fucked up (uh. content warnings for sex trafficking / underage prostitution in here which i am thankful is handled with the respect and contempt that it is) her awakening was also badass and the trickster figure author chose to make hifumi's persona is so peak
AND THE WAY MAKOTOS WRITTEN HERE IS SO FUN. her thought process on why she didnt protest the thing with kamoshida and her regrets about it, her guilt and then the re-write of her awakening when she's confronted with kaneshiros shadow YESSSSSS YESSSSSSSSSSS GET HIS ASS!!!
idk i really really liked this and i understand if author doesnt wanna continue it but god i really hope eventually they'll come back to it

Summary
Ren's "Not Phantom Thief related" group chat some how has a 100% chance for some dumb shit to happen in it. Within the first 2 days of the group being made, there's already something happening. So much has happened in his life within the past week: A castle in an alternate world, a floaty ghost man by the name of Arsène, Morgana the talking cat, Kamoshida and meeting his first new friends in Tokyo.
Out of all of them, he wouldn't give up his friends or family for anything. Even if most of them are complete dumbasses, they're his group of dumbasses.
This is a Persona 5 Chatfic following the "Totally capable Phantom Thieves" throughout the year, with dumbasses doing dumbass stuff when it isn't Serious O'Clock.
Whilst this does follow the main storyline of P5, I hope to curve and bend it a little bit and add some herbs and spices here and there. And sometimes snap canon over my thigh.
Not a Royal fic yet, contains some references to it. No Strikers spoilers please

the usual chatfic shenanigans mixed with a really sweet story about repairing broken bonds and learning to forgive yourself. also akechi torment, but the right amount.
this fic made me laugh, scream in second-hand-embarrassment and almost cry.
there's also some killer one-liners in here that i really did not expect to find in a chatfic like jesus.
all in all i say read it but again this is a post-game fanfic so, y'know, spoilers. -

one of the first post-game ut fics i ever read, still has a special place in my heart. also one of the first long-form fics i ever read on ao3 too.
the fic also doesn't villify chara which i am forever grateful for because i was in the trenches defending that kid in undertale's hayday.
there are a lot of original characters alongside the cast we know and love, and the fic really doesn't feel complete without them. i'm a caroline fan forever.
all in all i really cannot reccomend this fic enough, it's ruined (/pos) the way i go about making fanworks for media i get into.
if you have the time to spare read it!!
