Summary
Although they'd never spoken to one another before, Lily finds herself abruptly married to the Warlord Sir Crocodile. The daughter of a cobbler barely making ends meet, she can't imagine what his end game could possibly be, especially when he surely has better options. It's better than the alternative, at least - though Doflamingo has never been a gracious loser.
*Who doesn't love soft Crocodile? He's still who he is - a brilliant, manipulative, murderous warlord with a bad temper - but he gets humanized here, too, because I think it's more fun that way.
The OC here is kept generally vague in appearance so everyone can participate. Aside from being AFAB, the only physical description is that she is considerably smaller than Crocodile and sometimes has long hair. I want everyone to be able to enjoy an emotionally constipated sandman who just really likes his wife. Updates approximately once a week - more if I'm on a roll.
Undergoing updates - No major changes, but there are some alterations. Currently updated through Chapter 41.

Summary
Dracule Mihawk, a 25-year-old swordsman, travels to Loguetown to attend the execution of the legendary Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. He did not expect to come across a strange man with blue hair: an eccentric clown named Buggy, much older than him and obviously very talkative.
Between mocking spikes and insistent teasing, Buggy imposes himself in the cold and rigid universe of Mihawk. Despite his irritation, the young man lets himself be carried away by this surprising clown who, with a gentle and unexpected gesture, conceals his sight at the crucial moment of the execution.
It is ultimately not Roger who will upset Mihawk that day... but Buggy, whose lightness hides a certain tenderness. After fleeing the public square, Buggy takes him to a bar where he introduces him to another enigmatic man: Crocodile.
Mihawk then realizes that his meeting with Buggy might well mark an unexpected turning point in his life as a warrior. It is not the Pirate King who will awaken in him a new ambition, but a provocative clown with a sparkling gaze and disturbing contact... Maybe the first person to make it waver.

Then again, and again, and each time Nemisa's feelings for him grow stronger until she realizes that she's in love with him, a warlord who, without a doubt, would never love her back.
