“Magic devotion,” Viktor breathed in awe, staring down at the sigil on his hand.
“It connects us,” Jayce stood and knelt at Viktor’s side, taking his hand and holding it to his chest plate, the sigils side by side. “From this moment, until we find the gemstones you need, I am contractually yours. I am your weapon, your shield, your tower, your guide. Whatever you ask of me, I am humbly at your command.”
Jayce pressed a kiss onto Viktor’s knuckles, a tradition of showing his allegiance to the man. “Nothing will break this oath except for fulfillment. I swear on my life.”
