Nostalgia is hell of a drug, a morphine drip when the world is trying to kill you.
It’s funny, in a horrible way, the way the world is now. Victor was always curious to see what everyone would be like, with their fears bubbling to the surface, with their blood on their hands. Everyone would be dead, it turns out.
Curiosity killed the cat, he thinks bitterly.
The X-Men are dead. Logan was dead. He’s been dead for 552 days, give or take a few.
He knows how Logan kills, though. He knows that animal. And it sounded like Logan, albeit more messy. It could be him. Logan was so hard to kill, just like him. He might be back.
Victor missed his birthday last year. And this year.
Standing up, Victor makes a decision. He’s always been good at finding Logan.

What if Logan (movie) and Victor (comics + maybe some movie) collided and Victor unofficially adopts a feral kitten-child? Seriously, this is one of my all-time favorite fics. This fic made me tear up AND grin like an idiot. This fic is so good. Just read it.

Because the last problem, the one that's really starting to get to him, is that he can smell Wade on Nate. Nate, three feet away from him, leaned up against the wall behind the conference table, sleeping. Maybe not sleeping, judging by his breathing, but certainly resting quietly. Like Logan should be. Getting some rest and calming himself before the mission.
It's not like he's reeking of sex or anything. Logan can tell Nate had showered. A normal alpha wouldn't be able to smell it. Logan's just got that mutant super senses thing going on. And he can smell his mates cum, and he hasn't been with him in so long and argh.
He presses down on his dick with the heel of his hand through his pants, but it doesn't do much to relieve the situation.
He tries not to think about the fact that he can smell that Nate showered after being with Wade. And that if he can still smell it on him, he's pretty sure that means Wade came up Nate's ass.
