Summary

As he heals, he must come to terms with his trust issues. Written with underlying themes from The Princess Bride because "Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while."

Summary
This is a brief companion piece to Blood Debts [Season 4, Episode 10] reflecting Oliver's and Felicity's emotional reactions in light of her paralysis. The final twist is merely my imagined, hopeful resolution to this storyline.

(The comic book universe lets you get away with that kind of logic.) When Oliver and Felicity enter The Great Escape Room, they are "timejacked," dropped behind enemy lines during the 1940s. With their future imperiled, and only each other to trust, they discover their true feelings as they fight to save the Allies, stay alive and return home.

What if after Ra’s Al Gul pushed Oliver off the mountain in The Climb, Mateo brought him to a secret ARGUS base to get medical treatment instead to a hut with his ex-wife? Lyla would be notified and Team Arrow would want one of their own watching over him in his weakened state.
An AU where Felicity is the one to help Oliver get back on his feet after his fight with Ra’s and not Tatsu. And that changes everything.
