Summary
July of 1996 marks the beginning of Jill Valentine’s professional career as a member of the elite group S.T.A.R.S, at the helm of which is her newfound curiosity, Captain Albert Wesker. Whether that curiosity remains strictly platonic or not, there's only one way for her to find out. Why not dive in head first like she always does and hope for the best? What could go wrong...
This is my attempt at doing Weskertine justice, and fulfilling my ideal of workplace romance between Jill and Wesker between 1996 and 1998 in S.T.A.R.S. I'm trying to make this as cannon as possible, and forgive me if there are any mistakes. Constructive criticism is always welcome! <3
The story name is inspired some of the lyrics in song 'The Chauffeur' by Duran Duran!

So maybe Yuuji had stolen Megumi's boxers once. It was just the once, seriously. Until the second time. Yuuji swore it was an accident this time! He'd only meant to crack Megumi's door open long enough to peer in and hopefully spot the hoodie he'd misplaced earlier in the week. And well, if he somehow happened to spot a discarded pair of Megumi's underwear laying by his bed, slipped in to snatch them up, only to realize they were damp and deeply stained with blood, before making the split second decision to take them anyway, who could blame him? "Who's your friend?"
Noticeably, the white-haired stranger stiffens. His sunglasses are perched low enough on the bridge of his nose that Suguru watches his eyes widen minutely before they flicker over to him, and he's leveled with a stare so blue that Suguru isn't sure he's ever truly seen the color before now. For a brief moment, strangely, he's overcome with the sensation of drowning. It passes.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry." Shoko certainly doesn't sound very apologetic. "Geto, this is Gojo. Satoru, meet your idol. It's Suguru, right?"
Suguru nods his confirmation and smiles as he holds a hand out to Satoru, who looks a few shades pinker than he did just seconds ago. "Idol, huh?"
OR:
Suguru Geto lives his life in darkness. Martial arts instructor by day and underground MMA champion by night, he's grown accustomed to the cold comfort brought on by violence and duty.
