Summary
Yeosang looked at the painting, and he imagined Jongho in the act of creating it. He imagined him sweaty and covered in paint specks and focused. Jongho had told him that sometimes he painted with his hands to achieve a specific texture, and Yeosang let his mind wander, he walked up to the painting, his fingers gently tracing the mounds and grooves of the dried paint on the surface. How would it feel to be that canvas, to have his body changed by Jongho’s hands, to have colours smeared over his skin, to become something else entirely?
Yeosang had been told many times he was attractive, he knew he was pretty, but no one had ever made him feel like Jongho did. Like he was worth being looked at.

Jongho is an artist, the son of wealthy parents with everything to prove. Yeosang is a school teacher, stuck in a marriage he thought would be different. At this point, Yeosang is settled in his travel routine. He knows what he needs to stay centered on the road. He needs time to sleep, time to workout, and lots of time to himself in the quiet space of his hotel room so he has the energy to interact with cameras, fans, and the world.
He also needs Jongho to count his reps in the gym, to drag him to a local dinner spot, and to compete with him in League.
When Jongho is suddenly pulled from the road due to injury, Yeosang slowly unravels. The lights get brighter, the noise of the fans gets louder, and casual conversation with his friends gets harder. How big of a part is Jongho to his routine?
Or, it's 2023. Jongho's on hiatus. Yeosang is on the road. And he realizes a critical part of him is missing.

“It’s called pâté, asshole,” Yeosang grumbles.

Dammit. This is it. This is the moment where a wire fries in Jongho’s brain. He can feel it as it’s happening, the electric sizzle of his synapses melting, even as the words are queuing up and leaving his mouth. “Because it’s Yeosang I’m dating.”
