    Summary

They told him the world was too big for a boy with a loud voice and a simple heart.

They said the ocean was a graveyard for dreams, and that the lights of the Major Leagues were bright enough to swallow any small spark. But they forgot one thing: Sawamura Eijun was never just a spark.

He was a sun that had been rising since the dirt of first timeline, climbing higher through the storms of Seidou, and burning through the pressure of Koshien. Now, he stands on a mound made of foreign clay, under a sky filled with unfamiliar constellations. 🌌

In the Major Leagues, every pitch is a heartbeat. In the World Championship, every strikeout is a legend.

Old friends watch from across the sea, rivals wait with bated breath, and the world holds its collective air as he winds up. The gold on his jersey may be new, and the language may be different, but the left arm remains the same—a golden whip of lightning and light. ⚾️⚡️

The stars are beautiful, but they only come out at night.
The Sun is here now. And it’s time to wake up the world.

    Summary

Sawamura Eijun was known as a once-in-a-generation genius. Since childhood, he possessed unbelievable talent in everything he tried—academics, music, martial arts, art, and sports. No matter the challenge, Eijun mastered it effortlessly. Yet despite his endless talents, nothing ever truly captured his heart.

At age 8, Eijun moved from Nagano to Los Angeles with his family.

One day, by chance, he stumbled upon a local baseball game. The crack of the bat, the speed of the pitches, and the passion of the players awakened something inside him for the first time.

Though a complete beginner, Eijun’s instincts, athleticism, and genius adaptability allowed him to improve at terrifying speed. Coaches called him a miracle. Opponents feared him. Scouts became obsessed with him. But while others admired his talent, Eijun only cared about one thing:

The happiness he felt every time he stood on the baseball field.

For the first time in his life, he found something he truly loved.

Haruka was silent. Which wasn’t unusual, except… he wasn’t just quiet. He was staring.

Trying to figure out why Kei was smiling like that at someone else. Smiling that bright, easy smile that—until now—Haruka had thought was only for him

“Haruka’s our pitcher!” Kei continued cheerfully, oblivious to the way his pitcher’s expression darkened like a storm cloud. “He’s really amazing! He throws so fast and his control is perfect and he never talks to anyone but talks to me sometimes and—”

“Really?!” Sawamura lit up, which should’ve been physically impossible considering how bright he already was. “That’s so cool! I’m a pitcher too! We should totally have a pitching contest later! I bet your pitcher is really good, but I’m pretty good too and—”

    “That sounds fun!” Kei exclaimed.

    Haruka’s eye twitched.

    Summary

The final game had ended days ago.

The cheers were gone. The trophy sat forgotten on a shelf in the classroom. His teammates were still buzzing talking about scholarships, uniforms, and the pros.

Sawamura Eijun... walked home in silence.

The sun had dipped behind the trees by the time he reached the hill. From there, he could see the empty field they’d played on as kids. The old diamond still faintly visible.

A breeze rolled over the dirt, lifting dust into the fading light.

He stayed there for a while.

    Just watching.

    ---

“Are you going to keep playing?”

His mother’s voice from that morning. Soft. Careful.

“I guess,” Eijun had said, eyes on the floor. “I mean... I don’t hate it.”

    She hadn’t asked more.

That night, lying in bed with his glove on the windowsill, Eijun stared at the ceiling.

Everyone kept talking about high school. About Koshien. About scouts.

But when he closed his eyes, all he saw was dirt, a spinning ball, the sound of the mitt.

    That was it.

    No crowd. No spotlight.

    Just that moment.

And for now, it was enough.
