"There's no need to negotiate for your safety, Doctor Grace," Stratt says sternly. "I can assure you, after saving the world, you will be looked after."
"Um, no," he says, shaking his head. "I'm not negotiating for my safety." He steps aside. “I’m negotiating for theirs.”
They walk into the light of the open doorway; Simon, squinting hard against the vivid sun with his hand raised to shield his eyes and Rocky, who chirps a casual "Hello, humans!" with a wave.
There’s a gasp; someone takes a step backward; one of the military personnel raises their rifle slightly.
Grace doesn’t have eyes for them - he only looks at Stratt.
And he decides, then and there, to replace the image of Stratt’s face sending him to his death, full of remorse and sadness, with the one in front of him: utter, complete disbelief.
Grace thinks he'll treasure it forever.or: rocky, grace and simon go to earth instead of erid

Summary
“This okay?” Simon muttered, the vibrations from his words rippling across Grace’s stomach.
“Yes… yes I just…” Grace struggled to catch his breath. “This was not how I was expecting tonight to go.”
Simon paused his kisses. “How did you see this going?”
“I don’t know. We would… talk about it?”
“Do you want to talk instead?”
Grace couldn’t even remember what he wanted to say. Actually, there were no words that described what he wanted. “No. No, keep going.”

Or Eridians find Simon's submarine while spreading Astrophage to the galaxy and bring him back to Erid. Grace has to change his normal routine to help this new human adjust to life. Slowly, they get to know one another, despite Simon potentially being a war criminal from a moon with an ocean full of blood. But there's just something else about Simon that Grace can't shake, and he's pretty sure Simon feels it too...- Language:

"Even if the sun up and went out, it'd still be a better plan than whatever the hell that was."
Crowley had meant it as a side comment in response to the recent failed Armageddon rather than an actual suggestion when he'd said it. Well, surprisingly, God listened (sort of). Now the sun is dimming and it’s up to the world to come together and prevent yet another apocalypse. With the help of a little divine intervention, Eva Stratt finds exactly who she needs to do just that (which, just so happens to include some help from a middle school teacher, a billionaire and a secret civilization from below ground as well).
If all goes to plan, great! Humanity passes the test! If not, well, the Four Horsemen were originally going to launch nuclear missiles to mark the start of the war anyway, so at least they got a couple extra years before the End Times.

Ryland... So that was the name of the one sent to torment him.
(Or: The words you write on your skin shows up on your soulmate's body as well. Simon has been taught this is the worst kind of temptation possible.)

Summary
“Don’t let the blood get into your ship, okay?”
That made Grace pause. “What?!”
“If I die, you have to get my body out of here,” the man pleaded, but Grace had to go. His oxygen was out. The guy would be dead in six minutes. “You have to get me out, even if I’m dead. Hey!”
“Just hold on!” Grace propelled himself through zero gravity, away from the radio.
“Don’t leave me here-!” The roar echoed through the ship halls.
---
When Ryland Grace complained about being a little bored, maybe a little lonely, he thought a nostalgic trip around Erid would fix him right up. The last thing he expected was to find deadly space bacteria in deep space and a human. Alive.
