Summary
Katie has worked in the University's Library on the Graveyard Shift for over a year. For a year, she's been exchanging sticky notes with an anonymous Artist at her University and helping her best friend through her second bout of Leukaemia, all whilst still maintaining above average grades and her job. It's uncommon, and downright crazy for most, but for Katie, it works.
Aiden has attended the University for over two years and, for a day, Aiden has worked in the University Library's Café on the Graveyard Shift.When her Artist starts becoming less anonymous and more like a sandy-haired, paint covered Barista, Katie has to decide whether to keep living her life nocturnally or if she is brave enough to head back into the daylight.

"I saw him everywhere. In my classes, the library with Bunce, the food court, my favourite cafe. Hell, I even saw him in my favourite obscure record shop! Every time our eyes found each other, the air became electric with his hatred and my lust. I should’ve hated him, I should still hate him. In classes, all he did was prove that he was a moron but still raising his hand, blushing wildly when he got the answer wrong or smiling so brightly, that I truly believe an angel gets its wings every time, when he got the answer right. In the library, he was either being too loud and smiley or falling asleep whilst Bunce read silently. He never got in trouble for either, always managing to charm Mildred, the 67 year old librarian."

Phainon practically choked on air. “What? No! Absolutely not! I just—you—I didn’t expect…”
“Didn’t expect me to like men?”
Or: Phainon realizes he's gay, and then realizes he's been in love with Mydei all along.
