    Summary

    A collection of works set in the Kpop Demon Hunters universe!

    Loosely interconnected and featureing certain consistent concepts throughout - like the fact that the Honmoon is semi-sentient, Huntr/x are basically soulmates, and oh, of course, dog-motive Rumi :)

    Part I - Canon compliant work, follows the girls' story before, during and after the movie.
    Part II - Canon divergence, Rumi dies (They find her in the dirt by the tree)
    Part III - Canon compliant, Rumi, longing and loneliness.
    Part IV - Technically canon compliant, Huntr/x explicitly as soulmates.
    Part V - Canon divergence, Mira and Zoey remembering moments they had with Rumi after her death.

    Rumi is begging.

    Rumi is begging and Mira had wanted to be just that, be together, up until five minutes ago – her and Zoey had talked about it in detail, how both of their heart were beating for two people, how easy it had been to fall in love with their leader, how they wanted to try and be more, once they had restored the Golden Honmoon.

    But Rumi lied to them.

    And Mira finds she doesn’t want her anymore, not right now.

    (She doesn’t know, not yet, what she will lose. Destiny laughs into her ears and it is the sound of someone gone mad.)

     

    (They find her in the dirt by the tree, cold and pale and covered in blood.)

    As Zoey and Mira walk towards their impending doom, into Gwi-Ma's gaping maw, the entire world waits with bated breath for a hero. For someone to come with a song, a light in the dark, to save the day. But, no one does. And as destiny falls apart and fate screams in disapproval, the Honmoon reaches out to fix a cosmic error. Again, and again. No matter how many times it takes.
