Summary
In the aftermath of 3x08, a badly shaken Seven tries to cope with the trauma and guilt of the horrific fallout of the choices she made. There's no one better to help her figure out how to deal with that pain than an equally struggling Raffi, but before they can get to healing, they have to face the broken nature of their relationship and figure out how to help one another move forward.

Because she knows this is probably a runaway train heading right towards a wall. But if it’s going to hit the wall going a hundred miles an hour, well then, there’s no one she wants at her back besides Seven.

Summary
Post 3x5: Ten months ago, on the eve of assignments to wildly different places for wildly different missions, emotions surged out of control and instead of coming together when they'd needed each other most, Raffi and Seven fell apart. Now, with the threat of Changeling infiltration rising rapidly across the galaxy, the Titan on the run from the Starfleet itself and the fear of replacement of everyone you've ever known at all times present, these two strong, fiercely stubborn and independent women are going to find themselves with a second chance - but only if they can manage to find a way to communicate enough to come together so they can get things done in their own unique and entirely extraordinary kind of way.

Summary
Serving together as one half of a Command team with your former lover when you're far from over how much you both still really want to be together is hard enough, but throw in a First Contact situation that may be hiding something far more sinister, a potentially career destroying mishap that isn't quite what it appears to be, a serious injury that brings out a lot of hidden emotions and thus causes relationship altering changes and multiple friends both on and off the ship mixing unrequested meddling with their requested advice and it's no wonder that both Seven and Raffi have anxiety issues for days.
