Yet, this person was offering so much for a simple three rings. They must’ve been wealthy, or pitying him, but pity or not Nazuna could use the money. The shop did a good job of supporting him and he lived very comfortably, however he had 3 mouths to feed aside from his own, so he could never be too safe. Any extra money was welcome.
Not to mention, the description and sketch of what the sender wanted the rings to look like was frankly beautiful. The artistry was almost perfect, and it was the finest sketch Nazuna had received. It was detailed enough that Nazuna knew exactly what they wanted. It was basically a dream to him.

Summary
After what feels like far too long, he finally calms down, panting heavily. The words are-you-okay are on the tip of Izumi's tongue, but as the human turns to face him, he falters. How would a human react upon seeing him? With fear? Panic? Instinctually, Izumi feels a familiar surge of magic at the back of his throat, taking the shape of a garbled voice, a melody on the verge of spilling out, a spell—
But when their eyes meet, Izumi is met with a color brighter than any emerald he’s found underwater. The tune fades away.
“Oh,” the human breathes out, voice sounding scratchy and hoarse. A wet patch of orange hair falls against freckled cheeks. From behind, the moon perfectly frames his face like a filled-in halo. “You’re beautiful.”

Most days, Izumi wakes up earlier than Leo does, slipping out of their shared bed without a sound. (Not that it matters if he’s loud; Leo sleeps like a rock on the worst of days.) Leo wakes up to an empty space beside him and a still-hot pot of coffee on the counter (the Italian coffee is phenomenal, even Leo — who knows nothing and could care less about quality cuisine — can recognize) and a note in prim, clean script about what jobs Izumi has today and when he’s going to be back and Remember to eat lunch, idiot, go to a restaurant if you aren’t in the mood to cook. And in the late-morning quiet of their shared apartment Leo sips his coffee — just the right temperature from sitting on the counter — and reads the note and smiles to himself at the love in every neat letter.
Today, though, Leo wakes up to the sun streaming through their bedroom window — the gauzy fabric of their curtains doesn’t do anything to block out the light — and Izumi, still asleep and warm beside him.
