King Tauri rose from his throne in a swift movement. His hands gripped the fine clothes he wore as he cursed.
“Where is General Sorrengail?” He asked. He looked out of breath, even though he had barely moved.
“She’s returning to Navarre, with her husband,” he hesitated. “They… Fen Riorson—” Tauri growled at the mention of that name. “He… he has taken Sorrengail’s youngest, Violet, as hostage.”
“What?” he all but screamed. It couldn’t be… Could he know about what Violet truly was?
“He said she will stay in Aretia with them, to ensure you respect his demands as the new king of Tyrrendor.”
Or, the AU where Fen wins the Battle of Aretia and becomes king, Violet is forced to stay in Tyrrendor under the tutelage of Liam’s parents and has to marry Xaden. Oh, and Violet absolutely hates his guts

Summary
Violet Sorrengail is being thrown into the Rider’s Quadrant against her will and isn't positive she'll survive the parapet, let alone her first year in the Rider's Quadrant. Xaden Riorson is doing his best to help his father’s revolution by smuggling weapons from Basgiath to fliers, and getting his friends through the Rider's Quadrant to help their chances at defeating the enemy in the Barrens.
This is the story of what would have happened if Fen Riorson had decided not to be public about his revolution and decided to work in the shadows until the right moment.

Summary
Xaden traveled to Basgaith with his father, King Fen, to arrange negotiations between Tyrrendor and Navarre. He was only expecting to be granted access to attend the Dragon College; he wasn't expecting to gain a fiance. Well, as long as he survives threshing.
This fic is an age swap between Xaden and Violet. Violet will be the third-year leader, and Xaden will be in his first year. (I've also altered the other characters' ages.)
One of the key plot points in this fanfiction is the possibility of Tyrrendor's successful rebellion. This intriguing twist could potentially reshape the dynamics of the fictional world we know.I have an idea of where this fic is going to go. But I still need to outline it. So here goes nothing :)

Summary: While Tyrenndor’s First Queen is my guilty pleasure fanfic (which will be continued), it has gotten me thinking about what would happen in the book had Tyrenndor actually gained independence. I’ve concluded that, while most things would remain the same, these things would be different: 1) Tyrenndor would have opened its own rider’s college where all their kids (without their rebel marks) would have gone and 2) Lillith would not have sent Violet into the Rider’s Quadrant if she didn’t have Xaden to protect her kid. Which means Violet would have gone into the Scribe’s Quadrant and her mother probably would have let slip that Violet’s father was studying feathertails before his passing, making Violet investigate them herself and keeping her safely inside the wards. But we all know that a certain feathertail would have been quite ready to allow Violet the ability to study her. Which starts a slippery road that leaves Violet still bonded to both dragons and with Xaden’s ring on her finger. Think of this fic as Tyrenndor’s First Queen if I took it seriously.
