Summary
3,245 years before the Fall of the Republic, the first of settlers, the Lothi, came to Lothal. But they were not Lothal's first people. According to the Varuloko, they are the descendants of the Great Spirit Dume and they carry out his will to protect Lothal.
If you asked Ezra Bridger, he'd say it was an old wives tale. If the spirits existed, they would have seen the Empire coming. If they had seen what would become of Lothal, they'd have done something. And yet the Empire was here. It didn't matter. The Empire had banned all forms of the Varuloko tradition for stirring up "disunity" and "sedition." Not that they needed to. Ezra knows of just one left, himself. At least, he did until he met a gunslinger who offered to teach him the Force. The Varuloko may be all but gone, but maybe Lothal is still trying to fight back. -
