Summary
“Hang on,” Mira said and Zoey immediately wrapped her arms around her torso, frightfully looking at the water they were jetskiing on. The girl was calm, considering they were being hunted but Zoey knew it was because she had no concept of feelings…or panic for that matter.
“Who even are they?!” Zoey shrieked, taking a peek behind them. Leading the charge was Rumi, her purple braid whipping the air behind her as she zoomed towards them on a drone.
“Programs like me.”
“Why are we running?”
“I disobeyed my directive.”
“Which was?”
“Extract the code from your system, terminating you.”
“Why are you helping me?”
“I want to make a deal,” Mira looked over her shoulder at Zoey as she added, “I can save you from them. But I need your help, too. The code, I want you to use it on me.”Zoey, a top tier programmer, completes the work her dead brother always strived for; a successful Permanence Code. Unfortunately, she’s not the only one who was searching for it and they intend to use it for more selfish purposes. Mira, a program entity and Master Control of the Dillinger server, is transferred from the digital world to the real world, under orders to retrieve it no matter the cost.

Summary
Rumi is a young aerospace engineer who has recently gotten into her own routine on the moon of Pandora. She handles most of the aerodynamics for her small team, lead by her Aunt Celine. The team is focused on creating a fixed wing craft for this new atmosphere and gathering data to ensure the RDAs sucess on this moon.
Rumi wants to learn all that she can to help everyone better understand this place. This place that she wants to make her home.
Maybe the persiut of knowledge is what keeps her coming back to these two. Wanting to know about their lives.
Maybe she wants to learn how she can fit into them. Learn how to make them smile. Learn why they make her day brighter.

Or, broke college student Zoey goes viral for her revolting college meals—and rich girls Rumi and Mira find a little pity (among other things) in their hearts for her.

Summary
Zoey spun toward Mira, her chest heaving, eyes blazing even through the tears. “Don’t you get it? We broke her! We tore apart the bond that tied our souls with her!"
Mira flinched under the intensity of Zoey’s gaze, guilt pooling in her stomach, "We thought we were protecting ourselves, Zo..."
Zoey's hands shook as she ran them though her hair. "P- protecting ourselves?" She huffed out a laugh, "Baby, look at her! Look at what we did! She's alone and it's because of us!"
A heavy silence fell. Zoey's voice dropped, raw and trembling. "I... I can't... I can't even feel her anymore, Mir. It's like something inside me... like a piece of me just- vanished. You can feel it too, I know you can."
Mira froze. “Zoey… I… I didn’t realise-” Her voice cracked, small and desperate.
She interrupted Mira, tears spilling freely, her words scrambling together in hiccups. "And I don’t know how to fix it because you two are always fighting each other and leaving me alone… and that emptiness just keeps getting bigger.”
(OR - a post-canon story of the 3 month hiatus with HUNTR/X, taking a realistic approach on how rumi's secret unveiled by jinu affected the trio after gwi-ma's defeat.)

Summary
“Hey, babe. Been looking everywhere for you.”
The voice was low, honeyed, warm in all the right places. It fell over Rumi in a way the man’s voice hadn’t, settling into her bones and gnawing faintly, already leaving impressions on her marrow.
And yet another touch, this one lighter, a palm splayed across the small of her back, a second body pressing into hers from behind.
“Yeah, we thought we lost you for a sec there.” This voice, a little higher, but no less deadly.
Not one, but two strangers.
“Can’t you see you’re interrupting something?” the guy snapped at them.
“Can’t you see,” the first voice mocked, “she’s not yours?”
OR
Two women step in when a guy gets pushy with Rumi at a bar. What happens after is meant to be a one-night stand, nothing more.
But rarely do things turn out exactly the way they're meant to.
