    After the events of entry 87, Tim just wants to go home and forget everything. And for a time, it works and he is able to move on with his life. Until something unexpected takes his life by the wheel and flips a U turn when he finds an unconscious teenager across the street from his out at the edge of the forest
    It's a proxy and he has the operator's marker branded into his skin
    Tim doesn't want to get back into that whole mess but he has this sinking feeling that this boy needs his help.

    Toby spent four years trapped in the operator's hell scape before he managed to get free from it's grasp. He finds himself at the mercy of a kind stranger who claims to know about the operator and doesn't think he's just crazy. If this person managed to escape and go on to live a normal life, maybe he can too. He also doesn't have anyone else and nowhere else to go, his only shot is to give this a chance.

    Tim helps Toby to recover from his time as a proxy that left the boy with PTSD, major psychological and physical damage. Over time, Tim makes it his goal to protect and help Toby any way he can.
    And he will personally make sure that the operator never gets ahold of his adopted son ever again

He is living there to escape the world - to escape humanity as he feels more animal than human now and knows nothing else. He has a peaceful life in the woods - isolated from the whole world. That is until Charles Xavier sends his X-Men to find a feral mutant living in the woods, they just want to help - but Logan has never gotten help before and doesn't know how to accept it.
