“Something bad is about to happen," Regulus says.
Sirius’ face doesn’t change. Sirius knows what the house is capable of, and therefore, he already knows something bad will happen. This is the house that made them. It loves them, and it needs them. It hates them, and it wants to devour them. It’s salivating, just waiting for nightfall. It once left burn marks on Sirius’ back, so Sirius wants to expose it, and then burn it to the ground. It once drowned Regulus, and he doesn’t want to crawl out of the water again. He wants it all to end. He knows they have to do this. This house created them, and it ate them up, and it spit them out all scarred up. Just like their mother.
Sirius is the only person in the world who understands, and that’s precisely why Regulus delivers him these next words.
“If that something happens to James, then I will not forgive you.”

They’re so close. Sirius can feel Remus’ hot, bated breath on his skin. He can see every one of Remus’ honey freckles and the white spiderwebs that course through his scar tissue. He can hear every one of Remus’ sharp inhales and shaky exhales; It’s the only sound he can hear above his own heart racing through his veins.
And his heart is doing that —racing. But it’s not like a thud, thud, thud in his chest or even a soft, fluttering sound like a warm, Irish lilt. The sound is more like a swoosh, like a pendulum swing, jumping from white-hot anticipation to cold-blooded fear and back again.

ORVi has a plan. Sure, it's a shit one, but it's a plan: get in, find Mr. Bossman, shake him up, and get out.

Caitlyn is the Sheriff of Piltover and Vi is a new Enforcer recruit, but they only find out who the other is after they have had a one night stand that Caitlyn can't get out of her head.
What makes it even worse is that Caitlyn is supposed to ask Vi to be her partner, in order to show everyone that no matter where someone is from they can all work together.
Awkwardness, mutual pining, a bit of rivalry, jokes, taunts, and smut ensue, with crime fighting and political schemes that leave them very little time to deal with their feelings towards each others, making it all the more difficult to work together.- Language:

Summary
Caitlyn has been stressed lately with her work as the sheriff of Piltover and goes clubbing with her friend Jayce and his fiancé, Viktor, in the hopes of blowing off some steam. There she meets Vi, a tattoo artist from the Undercity who she can't seem to leave alone, despite their obvious differences.
What started as just a fling grows into something more as Caitlyn delves further into Case 385, and discovers the network of corruption and smuggling run by Silco, and industrialist and leader of a self-proclaimed nation called Zaun. With no other connections in the Undercity to turn to, Caitlyn looks to Vi for help, and despite their brief history, Vi can’t help but feel drawn to her.
