Pencil is my favorite BFDI character, and I wanted to explore her whole arc with the EXIT, so here's a little divergent drabble thingie I cooked up.
(Takes place during TPOT 15, this is my re-write of it)Pencil hates everyone on Cloudyay. Especially Golf Ball.
So, when Golf Ball is disqualified from today's challenge due to being "too smart," Pencil is overjoyed. Finally, she can take back the control she rightfully deserves. Maybe this will be enough to get them to like her again.
Turns out Pencil may also be smarter than she expected.

Plants curl up and hide themselves away,
Rivers slow their movement, bubbling and chattering ever so softly,
The stars come out to play, their light shining cheekily at the forests and fields below,
And the world is cast in shadows, concealing the most dangerous creatures no one dare imagine,
And the predators of the night begin to prowl, on the hunt for a poor, helpless soul to snatch up,
And thumps and bumps and bangs and clangs fill the night, their origins unknown,
And the places abandoned during the day suddenly become filled with sound, vagrants and troublemakers invading the space,
And the echos of the past, real or not, come back to haunt us in our dreams,
And as dawn turns from dusk to day,
It's times like this that makes us wonder,
Do the dead truly stay?"
