Karu'un breaks out of the facility with Astra and the pretorian hard meat, Bastion
They are on the run from WYtC, taking shelter on a swamp planet. Astra as recovering for her years of trauma, and learning to control her void powers. Karu'un is unlearning his ways, learning how to be soft, and devoted to Astra
Bastion is the quiet Sentinel, always by her sideThey are tacked down to the swampy planet, barely manage to escape intact with a tracer attached to the hull
Astra takes some agency back with some intimacy with Karu'un and the progress to a old Derelict YW research vessel to scavenge supply for their dying ship
Astra finds a lab that brings back memories and has a PTSD meltdown, and in the midst of rescurescuing her, Karu'un finds old research about the project that birthed Astra and Bastion
They blow the facility otw out and theres documents about teaching the modified Xenos sign language -

Summary
Hi, this is my first story here, so please be kind. English is not my first language.
This started as a dark sci-fi romance with Yautja, and then it grew legs and apparently never-ending chapters.
I always try to stay as lore-correct as I can, but I’ll admit one thing right away: I skipped the whole Yautja translator/language bullshit and went with English as the universal language here, because constantly stopping for translation explanation kills the mood when writing.
So yes — there will be romance and sex. A lot of it. But also action, brutal scenes, intimate moments, complicated characters, slow burn, long foreplay, messy feelings, and a bigger story around them, because I apparently cannot write anything small.
I’ll be posting more chapters soon.

Kara, origins unknowunknown is a yautja/human hybrid, she grew up and a lab and has been ttrained and treated like a weapon since before had the chance to just be a child
Now an adult with alot of trauma, she often attacks fist because she has come to expect negative treatment, she hate being treated like a thing
Jack is her step brother, and the only person (human) who cares for her as a personA human colony ship leaves 🌎 to settle on a new planet based on some coordinates that where left with Kara when she found as in infant
Rourke, her capt brings her along as a tool, but she didnt know until she is eventually used as a bargaining chip with the yautja, they crash land and total the ship on a female clan planet, there is a fleet of warriors there, tracking a bad blood that has been steeling females and supplies
After a joint training exercise after Kara puts a yautja male on his ass, the clan leader and the elite warrior Zha'rek want to use u
Her as bait that bites to finally track down the bad bloodsZara flies into a panic rage when she is touched, or has her choice taken from her, and the bad bloods will undoubtedly try to force themselves onto her, so to make sure Kara doesn't break, or blow her cover and get killed, zha'rek walks her through some intimacy, since she's a virgin
He takes his time and continually gets consent through the whole thing, and sometimes between them changes, they're for each other
