“Detective,” he cackles, “you sick and twisted man. You’ve poisoned me,” he accuses. “You’ve ruined everything…”
The Recruiter’s head falls into his hands as he cackles, and then he doubles over and laughs even harder. His chest heaves and his stomach hurts, and he laughs until he can no longer, and even more than that. He clutches his stomach and falls to the ground on his knees, and still, he laughs.
“Detective,” he yells, “how could you do this to me, detective?”
(Or, the Recruiter, Moon Ki-yong, realizes he has fallen in love with Detective Hwang Jun-ho. He does not take it very well.)

—You could, but you won't... Want to know why I know? —Opposite fingers curl around his forcing him to squeeze tighter.
“Because you need me and want me much more than you think you do.”
Obsession is not born out of nothing, it is sown in the inevitable, in the brush of glances that should never cross, in the questions that should never be asked.
Or, Jun-Ho and the salesman have known each other since before the events of the second season, the recruiter was ordered to keep an eye on Jun-Ho and thus prevent him from approaching the island, he achieves his task, but perhaps not as In-Ho originally asked him to do.
