Felix revels in the close contact until Chan buries his nose in Felix’s hair and takes the most dramatic, deep inhale. It’s like he’s trying to see if he can suck up Felix’s hair with his nose to tickle his brain.
“Are you smelling me?”
“You smell nice,” Chan says, taking another exaggerated sniff. Felix can’t really imagine how he’d smell nice, after a day out dancing followed by a restaurant visit. Felix pulls his sleeve to his face to see what Chan is talking about. He gets a nose full of smokey, meaty, fried cotton, under it lingers the scent of Chan’s detergent. “I smell like barbecue.”
“Yeah, like I said,” He buries his nose in Felix’s shoulder. “Nice.”

Summary

And he is quite surprised to unceremoniously discover that Geralt, his companion of many years, is in fact an omega. Geralt and his fellow witchers repress their heats until they arrive at Kaer Morhen for the winter. This year, since Jaskier’s rut is starting at just the right time, Geralt invites Jaskier to come along. Jaskier thinks he knows what to expect when partnering an omega in heat, but the situation at Kaer Morhen thoroughly wrecks his expectations.

It had to be Jaskier; his lute was there, and he never abandoned it, not even in the face of danger. But what had happened? “Fuck,” he breathed, stepping forward. The fucking mage hadn’t been messing with him.

“Did you just look me up and down and then bite your lip? ‘Cause if you did, we’re having sex. Right now.”
The man blinks a few times. “This one has inhaled too much smoke.”

“Not particularly.”
The smile swiftly disappeared.
“It’s not terrible,” he amended, stepping back to let Jaskier inside the apartment. Then Jaskier’s initial words sank in. “Wait. Yen did what?”
Hanging up on Yennefer was always a mistake.

“Oh shit,” Jaskier muttered. He crawled as far back into his little shelter as he could fit. He hadn’t planned for this to happen. He hadn’t thought this through at all. He didn’t know what to do next.
In the blink of an eye, the monster had rounded his shield of roots and was staring directly at him.
Now he’d never know what that look in Geralt’s eyes meant, that quick glance he had chosen to direct at Jaskier when it appeared he’d had less than a second left to live himself.
Jaskier’s hands were clenched at his sides. He wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around his head and make himself as small as possible. But if he was going to die anyway, he wasn’t going to spend his last moments curled up in a frightened little ball.

Castiel is a diagnosed OCD suffering from PTSD and agoraphobia, mysophobia, and dystychiphobia. Needless to say—he’s a mess who hasn’t stepped out of his home in literally seven years. The only times Gabriel can see traces of the way his brother used to be is when he feels in control—specifically when he has control over a sub.
