Hunter wanted to do more. He watched as the other heroes and the regular employees left the tower every night, laughing and talking with each other as they went to their houses—their homes—for the night, and secretly wished that he could join them. Maybe he would make a friend, maybe he would be able to finally talk to someone his own age.
But Belos would never let him, his hand always there, urging Hunter to come back to the gym, to train long into the night until his hands stung and his head reeled from the effort of standing up straight. It was exhausting, but he had to do it. He had to prove that he was better than what his powers limited him to.
Because Hunter was a healer.

Summary
A small ball of snow hit Techno on the ear, startling him out of his thoughts. He turned and glared at Michael, who was grinning up at him with the self-assuredness of a child who knew that they were the favorite and that there was no way they could ever get in trouble, even if they burned down an orphanage.
“Bruh,” Techno deadpanned, shaking the snow out of his ear, which only caused it to fall under his cloak and onto his back. He shivered but quickly coughed to hide it, turning to Michael.
“So,” he chuffed, folding his arms across his chest and eyeing Michael up and down, “you want to hear the story of the great and glorious Antarctic Empire, do you?”

The door to the hut banged open as soon as Techno slid off of Carl, and his niece barreled through, short brown hair pushed out of her face by the wind as Tallulah threw herself around Techno’s waist and cried out happily, “Uncle Techno! You’re gonna take me to my papi!”
Techno swept her up in his arms and twirled her around, barely able to stop the grin from creeping across his face as Tallulah threw her arms out and giggled wildly. “Well, hopefully, I can take you,” he said as he finally set her down and started to head inside, “but a little dragon tells me that you need to finish cleaning yourself off before we can leave.”

Tubbo's hand - the bad one, the one that's mostly scar tissue - twitches, and Ranboo can sense that he's said something wrong. "Are we not?"
