The rusted metal clung to his dry hands. Still, his hold tightened around the railings, the only support offered as his best friend rose from the latter to stand at his side.
“You want some?” Mike asked, out of breath, passing over the plastic water jug.
“Yeah,” Will, equally exhausted, answered.
He easily drank, his lips wrapped around the scratched brim as if it brought him salvation.
Mike averted his eyes below despite his inner reminder never to look down. His fear of height, or better said, his fear of falling, didn’t seem so frightening when he thought of Will’s lips against where his had just been.

Summary
As the last light of day dimmed and the evening chill set in, Kanae felt a tug on her sleeve. She turned to see a young boy, who looked no older than Kanao, clutching her sleeve with a trembling hand. His round cheeks were flushed from the cold, and his large, distressed yellow eyes searched hers. Dressed in a worn, muted blue kimono and with wind-tousled, curly black hair tied into a ponytail, he looked small and lost.
With no adults in sight, Kanae softened her concern into a warm smile. “Hello, bouya. Are you lost?”
The boy’s eyes, filled with desperation, met hers as he whispered urgently, "Are you a Demon Slayer?"

Summary
Following the defeat of Upper Moon demons 4 and 5, the injured demon slayers are taken to the Butterfly Mansion for recovery.
Miyato, a newly promoted Kinoe, is physically and mentally drained from the relentless missions assigned by Sanemi. Upon hearing the news of the others' injuries, he arrives at the mansion to check on them and rest.
Muichirou is dealing with the resurfacing of his memories, which is making it difficult for him to sleep.
Good thing Miyato always carries around his "Miracle Sachets".
