Summary
Buck is Bobby's nephew and came to live with Bobby and Marcy at 12 years old after Danny and Mads moved out of the house. Someone called CPS and Evan was removed from the house to be raised by Bobby and Marcy. This is that story, Bobby Jr (RJ) and Brooke (B) survive the fire and live with their cousin Danny for a while well their dad and Buck become who they are. Chapter 1 is the story of Buck (Evan) growing up with Bobby, Marcy, Danny, and Kira (Danny's amazingly kickass girlfriend) caring for him. Maddie is still there as well, but more a s a background character in the first few chapters. Buck and Eddie will get together, but it's gonna be a few chapters before he's even introduced. I will try and follow most major plotlines, but it is told more in snap shots then flowing scenes. Please be aware of this! There is a mention of some Lonestar characters in here as well.

Summary
It happens naturally, is the thing. So, so naturally that Buck doesn't even notice it happened, at first, not until he's sitting at the table in the station, coffee in his hands, talking to Bobby. Obviously, the realization hits him in the middle of a sip and he inhales enough coffee to make him seriously consider never touching a mug again, while he's retching over the sink trying to get it all out.
Or: Buck kisses his best friend, realizes he's in love with him and is a disaster about it. Eddie is confused, but decides to go with it. Christopher would like them to stop, please, he's getting a headache.

Summary
"Chris falls asleep that night looking at the fading pink trim around the outside of the closet door, trying to figure out why his dad stopped liking the color pink and then determines to figure out what else his dad's been hiding from him."
Or, Chris runs to El Paso in the wake of Eddie's affair with Kim. While there, he discovers truths about his dad that turn his understanding of his life upside down.
Basically, Chris' time in El Paso through his own eyes as he discovers how to mend things with Eddie and go home.

"Eddie is standing in front of him, face obscured by a beard and T-shirt pulling tight across his chest in a way it hadn't when he'd walked through the airport doors 6 months ago. It's a painful reminder of how long he's been away and how long Buck's been struggling without him. But, it also makes something stir in his chest."
Or, Eddie goes to Texas to get his son, and Buck crashes out by reverting to his 1.0 software update and getting a ton of tattoo. When Eddie comes back 6 months later with Chris in tow, they'll both have to deal with the changes that happened on both sides.
