“What happened?” Toya asked gently, placing a hand on Akito’s shoulder, comforting him with that small gesture.
Akito swallowed. “I… Father arranged for me to marry Her Highness Mafuyu of the Asahina Kingdom without telling me beforehand…” He watched as Toya’s eyes widened in shock, feeling glad that he wasn’t the only one who thought that what his father did was insane. “I told him that I didn’t want to marry her, and in the end… he… slapped me.”
Toya’s eyes softened as he heard Akito’s words. “Oh, Akito…” he muttered softly.
Akito shook his head. “Doesn’t matter now. There’s no point arguing, anyway. I can’t do anything to change his mind… besides, this is for the good of the kingdom and all… so, I really shouldn’t do anything about it now…”
He then found Toya staring right into his eyes. “There’s another option,” he began slowly.
Akito blinked, confused for a second as to what Toya was trying to tell him. Then, he knew exactly what Toya was talking about, and shook his head. “No, no way. We’ve been through this, Toya, man, c’mon. We’re not doing it. Never.”

“Oh, her? That was Lumine. She’s one of the best members in the theater club. So, it’s no surprise that she plays the lead role in the play.”
“Lumine…” Ajax whispered to himself, testing the name on his tongue before grinning like an idiot.
Kaeya squinted his eyes at his friend. Maybe he should bring Ajax to the nurse’s office…
Before Kaeya could do anything, Ajax grabbed onto Kaeya’s shoulder, causing the male to jump a little at the suddenness of the action.

Seeing the look on his friend's face, Kaeya just rolled his eyes and scoffed. “Anyways, you know how April fools is tomorrow, right?”
Childe opened his mouth to respond but was quickly cut off when Kaeya continued to speak, “You should ask Lumine out as a joke.”
From having his eyes squinted to the point they were almost shut, Childe’s eyes suddenly shot wide open at the suggestion. Childe had practically almost jumped out of his spot on the floor, hitting his head against his bed frame as he did so.

“But, I know my sexuality! Obviously, I’m straight!” Akito protested. “Have you seen me with the ladies?”
“What ‘ladies’?!” Nene asked, rolling her eyes. “The only ‘lady’ you hang around with is Ena, and she’s your goddamn sister, so she doesn’t count.”
“Nuh-uh-uh, you little gay shit, you’re taking this quiz right now. This will prove that you, Shinonome Akito, are absolutely not straight,” An countered, slamming his laptop in front of him. The tab he was on now was a website for a “What Is Your Sexuality” quiz.
Akito gave the two girls an unimpressed look. “I told you that I’m straight!”
“Sure, grandpa, let’s get you to bed,” Nene deadpanned.
