"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring"
- Marilyn Monroe
----------------------------
Nothing about life is perfect, especially that of Eiko Kageyama. Nothing about Oikawa Tooru is perfect either, and what they share. None of their friends are perfect, their family, their school, their talents, their values, even their relationship. But being together, holding each other, the feel of their body's molding into the others, it feels so right that it teeters on the edge of perfection. And yet, even though most people strive for perfection, deep down, neither of them want that. Deep down, they're both comfortable in their imperfections, and that's enough to get them through every day.
A story unfolds in which Oikawa, somebody who many view as perfect, and somebody who wants to be nothing but, is riddled with more insecurities than anybody would ever expect. With one exception: she knows he's imperfect, and she loves it.

Summary
Oikawa Tooru was an exceptional student. You were better. Thus - the rivalry was born. Becoming the manager of Aoba Johsai's volleyball team, following your passions and finding a sense of happiness in your school years wasn't a part of your plan. You didn't want to develop feelings for Oikawa Tooru. You just wanted your stupid documents fixed.
You couldn't describe the complicated feelings you were feeling very well, you simply knew you wanted to stay close to him.
Maybe you were delusional, but something told you Oikawa liked you too.
Or: Oikawa's inferiority complex kicks in after you one-up him in an admission exam, that causes your life to turn upside down.

Summary
“Did you know they fly high? Higher than the walls. They’re really elegant with it apparently—that’s what Armin said at least.”
Your thumb brushes over the pendant. Each line is carefully etched in silver; the eye of the heron is a small blue gem that glistens when the light hits it right.
“And it made you think of me?”
His smile is all smug, betrayed by the pink blotching his cheeks and the tips of his ears. He leans with his forearm against the wall above your head, looking down at you.
“Of course it did,” he says. “Have you seen yourself when you fly?”
───────────
Or; During the raid on Liberio, you're taken as a prisoner of war. Reiner finds you, grateful that you're still breathing. But when you realise who saved you, all you know is rage.
