Summary
Dennis Whitaker has been working at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center for a year, which is apparently long enough to watch almost everyone around him fall in love.
Mel has Langdon. Santos has Dr. Garcia. Victoria has Mateo. Jack has Samira.
Dennis has… work.
And he is absolutely not going to wake up one day and realize that work is all he has.
So Dennis decides to do something about it.
Dating apps. Blind dates. Speed dating. Bad coffee, worse flirting, questionable choices, and an increasingly determined search for someone who will love him exactly as he is.
Robbie Robinavitch, meanwhile, would very much like everyone to stop asking why Dennis’s dating life bothers him.
It doesn’t.
He is not jealous.
He is not in love with Dennis.
And he definitely has not spent the last year quietly learning every little thing about him while convincing himself that wanting more would be selfish, inappropriate, and impossible.
Dennis is trying desperately to move forward.
Robbie is doing everything he can to stand still.
Unfortunately for both of them, love has never been particularly interested in following instructions.

Summary
In that sudden movement, Dennis saw a tattoo on his arm, just off his bicep.
Memento Mori.
“What does it mean?”
Robby frowned, confused by the sudden question.
“What?”
“This tattoo,” Dennis pointed, “it’s latin, isn’t it?”

Summary
Robby could say to himself, or even to other people, that he was biting himself up by jealousy. Although, for sure, he knew that it was better to leave this sentiment inside his own head – and his poor cheek, already tired of so many bites.
It was quite obvious that he couldn't express what he was feeling (and seeing and hearing), since the object of his jealousy was none other than Dennis Whitaker, his medical resident, who was born in the late 1990s and wasn't even 30 yet.

Summary
It is common sense to say that the eyes are the window to the soul, that through them you can deeply understand a person. For Robby, Dennis's eyes, besides being large, beautiful, and blue, exposed his emotions like an open book. For Dennis, Robby's deep brown eyes tried to tell him something.
Or
5 times when Robby noticed some emotion in Dennis's eyes and 1 time when Dennis noticed some emotion in Robby's eyes.
"The attending tried at all costs to deny his own emotions, but Dennis…Dennis didn’t deny his, his eyes said it all. "Bookmarked by RedPanda56
