I don't have a proper summary planned out yet, will figure one out hopefully when I finish the second chapter so I'm more aware with where I want this story to go.
James Whitlers had a bit of a sad life, his parents never really cared about him but it wasn't the end of the world. He's trying to learn to not be so impartial, to have an actual voice of his own, to learn what real love is and how to show it in a healthy way.

Coughing and gasping for air, Leon put tremendous effort into not blacking out–both from the shit he’d sucked into his lungs and bouncing his head off the dirt when the shockwave from the blast toppled him. When he felt a pair of hands grasp him by his holster straps and pull him away from the crater the greenhouse had left behind, he pawed weakly for the knife strapped to his thigh, but then he heard a familiar voice–albeit distorted by a respirator mask:
“Hey, Leon–it’s okay. We’re here to help.”

Golden boy of the BSAA, knight in shining armor, and Leon’s hopeless crush, which had been going on for so long now that it was old enough to get a driver’s license.
