Summary
It was like all the weight Yelena had been carrying today was lifted off her shoulders. Maybe even all the weight the whole team had been carrying. Ava knew that despite acting distant at times Yelena cared about some of them more than they did for themselves. She knew that the whole team was grateful for all the work Yelena put in, even if they didn’t all show it so clearly.
The way that Yelena tilted her head into the other woman's neck, the way that she had one hand on her back and the other threaded through her hair. Like she might just disappear if she held on any less.
Or
The New Avengers team meeting Kate, and then finding out about her and Yelena.

Summary
“What do you want from me, Glinda? I can’t stay for long.” She paused, “Have you come to turn me in, is that it?” It hurt Elphaba to suggest that Glinda would ever betray her like that, and it hurt even worse seeing the flicker of emotion across the other girl's face when she said it.
“Oh Elphie, you know I could never betray you like that.”
“You could.”
“I wouldn’t.”
Or, when Elphaba breaks into the palace to try and free the monkeys on the night of Glinda and Fiyero's engagement party it doesn't go to plan. She gets trapped in the palace and is forced to spend the night with Glinda. (Unresolved feelings ensue.)

Summary
Mira and Zoey don’t know this yet (they will, one day soon, they will), but Rumi died for the first time the Monday after her eleventh birthday.
Or
Rumi inhaled, the rush of air filling her lungs, inflating that tiny balloon called hope trapped behind her ribs.
“I love you, Celine.”
The words tumbled out of her gracelessly, but so so sweetly. She waited, and all the while, that little balloon grew and grew, the plastic skin of it stretching and thinning with every second before—
“You too,” Celine said back.
‘Pop.’
“Celine,” Rumi tried again, voice shaking as tears she didn’t even know she still had left to shed began to drip down her left cheek. “Celine, I said I love you.”
Or
If demons (even half-demons) could kill themselves, there probably wouldn't be many left. Rumi doesn't know this, yet. She learns.
