His height was what you first noticed, even though you had been sitting on the floor. Tall, with a thick, dark duster jacket that hid most of the man. He had knelt down to get on your eye level, a completely neutral look on his face as he had eyed you up.
“Are you God?” You had muttered, head still running with adrenaline.
He’d chuckled with not an ounce of humor. “The name’s Jason.”

There’s a little boy sitting by the swings. Someone approaches him, and he starts shaking. He tries to say a few words, but is quickly silenced with the grabbing of his collar. Then, he is left alone, without any lunch money. He sits on a swing, curls up, and you can’t tell if he’s crying, but you know he’s awfully sad.
He’s in the same grade as you, you’ve realized. You see him in the hallways, walking with his head held high. You wonder.

Summary
You peak, and you’re momentarily struck wordless. There’s a man there. Maybe it’s the way he dresses, pure black robes held so formally that he reeks power. Maybe it’s the way he walks, each step pounding against the metal floor. Or maybe it’s his eyes, a piercing blue against his snowfallen skin. Either way, you are frozen in his wake.
Then, he walks into his own wall, muttering about “Stupid me-shaped corridor” in a thick German accent, and you resist the urge to laugh at him

Summary
A groan coming from the pig pen stops you flat.
Raising an eyebrow, you make a slow turn towards the pen to find someone lying inside. A Navyman, by the look of it. He's not moving, which is an awful sign. You wonder if helping him is worth being charged with murder of a British soldier. Then, your second thought is you’ve already killed a few British soldiers, and you should really get over there and check on him.
