Vi was laughing with Ekko when they opened up the donations with text to speech. All the hilarious messages they were receiving. She leaned forward and grabbed the mic, “Heyyy, this is ya girl Vi with DJ Ekko streaming some holiday cheer to our local stations. Donations are open! We appreciate the love and support!”
“Gotta admit, this is such a Zaun way to go about things.” Ekko spoke into the mic. “I really do miss the small town vibes. And—oh [bleep!] You gotta fat tip, Vi! Check it out.”
The stream lit up with a $500 donation that rushed to the front with a message that was read out loud.
‘It’s not even Thanksgiving. This station is ridiculous. Stop playing Christmas music!’ The username read K8LN.
Vi and Ekko stilled at the message, “Huh?”
Their chat went crazy.

Then she turns, from where she had her head pressed against the wall, to look at Caitlyn standing just there, looking amazing, and with her face and overall expression laced with amusement, her eyes gazing into hers.
“Sorry to say,” she lets out around that smirk, breathtaking blue eyes never leaving Vi’s. “You've grown a bit predictable.”
‘She knew,’ it dawns on Vi.
‘And she let it happen,’ she also concludes, feeling goosebumps washing her skin.

“Want me to stay like a lap dog, Cupcake?” Vi tries to find venom in her own voice, the fear of her answer turning in on itself when she sees Caitlyn’s eyes darken.
“I want– I want you to fuckin– agh… I want you to distract me,” Caitlyn moans again when Vi releases her other nipple from between her teeth, tugging at the longer ends of Vi’s hair. The disappointment and rage curling together into something more tangible at the words.

One day, two women meet on the subway. The recently dumped Lena is recovering from a broken heart, and Kara is grappling with the open-ish relationship she has with her long-distance boyfriend. They decide that they’re going to become friends. The kind of friends who also have totally casual, no-strings-attached, nobody’s-catching-feelings sex. What could go wrong?
As Alex puts it: “Kara. This is the dumbest thing you’ve ever done. And I’m including the time that you set fire to your own hair and nearly burned the house down trying to do some spell you found on MySpace to make Troy Bolton materialize in real life and marry you.”
Or: Lena and Kara go around New York City eating food and banging each other until their feelings eat away at them, and Alex tries not to have an aneurysm about it.
