“Okay, so here’s the thing. I’m going to tell you how this summer is going to go, and you’re not going to argue with me, right? Right. So!” He clapped his hands once behind Derek’s back, since his arms were still around his neck. “Lydia’s family bought a sort of like... I want to say cabin, but cabins are for the woods, so I guess a beach house would be more accurate. But anyway, it’s Lydia, so you know the place is extra, and she wanted to go hang out for a while to get away from the usual Beacon Hills craziness so we’re all heading up there for the summer. I’m thinking three, four weeks. Maybe longer, depends on when people have jobs lined up and whatnot. We leave in the morning, and don’t forget to pack your swimsuit. Or do, whichever, I won’t complain.” Stiles waggled his eyebrows suggestively, but Derek ignored that. He felt like all the oxygen had been sucked out of the loft and he was finding it hard to breathe.
They were going to a beach house, and would be staying there for a month, and Derek was supposed to be okay with that? No. Absolutely not. He would spend the whole time upset and nostalgic for a life he’d lost due to his own stupidity as a child.

Derek blinked at the screen, confused. “I’m sorry?”
“That.” The client pointed at his screen, then seemed to remember Derek wouldn’t know any better with that action. “The person in the background.”
It took a second for Derek to realize that people could see Stiles behind him. He hadn’t actually thought about the fact that his watching his boyfriend earlier was specifically because he could see him. Which meant everyone else could, too.

Eddie must have moved around too much while waking up, because Buck was quick to notice Eddie's consciousness.
"Hi," he whispered, turning his phone off and tossing it on a pillow to the side. Eddie yawned.
"Hello," Eddie's voice still came out congested, but at least the pounding in his head from earlier was gone. "What time is it?"
"A little after one," Buck replied. He started to rub his hand up and down Eddie's back, and Eddie melted into the touch. Eddie tried to shift his body again, chasing a little more comfort, but gasped when he moved his hips. Buck hummed into Eddie's hair.
"Okay down there?" He asked.
Eddie let out a shaky exhale. "All— all good," he stuttered. He felt Buck press a kiss to his scalp. The hand that was previously rubbing circles into Eddie's back trailed down, catching against Eddie's hip. His other hand found place just short of the curve of Eddie's ass.
