Superboy bristled and glared sharply at the teenager. But before he could snap a reply, the winged vigilante turned and motioned to several crates that were piled around. Superboy squinted at him before he stared at the crates, allowing his x-ray vision to activate.
“So, you’re here for creates full of weapons.” Superboy said blandly. “Are you a criminal? I feel like you’re a criminal.”
“Technically,” Brid Boy replied, that same smug smirk on his lips, “Vigilantism is illegal. So, I am a criminal.”

Tim felt sick to his stomach. Robin would always be the angry kid who did quadruple flips while beating criminals with both fists and bad puns; the boy who later took the name Nightwing. Robin would always be the kid that was just so happy to wear that suit and splay his dyed wings.
Tim wasn’t Robin. Not really.

Summary
It was clear this boy was Bruce’s. Even without the wings, he looked so much like Bruce it hurt, and looking at him made the green ease away and his mind cleared long enough for him to think 'I have to get us out of here.'
Talia had a plan and he had accepted whatever would happen to him when he took her hand. He had allowed the green to seep into his thoughts, reveled in the constant state of anger it pushed him into, but not anymore. Jason wasn’t a pawn, and he was stronger than a few whispers.
Bruce had two sons he was missing, and Jason was going to bring them home.
Or: Jason accepts that he will just be a pawn for Talia's plans, until he meets her son, who has wings identical to Bruce's. Then Jason just accepts that he needs to get the hell out of there.

Damian’s voice would have been the only thing to bring life to the silent channel. It’s a pressurized silence that bursts underneath the tension. Bruce listens to his children erupt with concerned conversation. Bruce doesn’t have the time to listen to them individually. Damian isn’t responsive. Damian is hurt.
