Tommy loves his life. I mean, who wouldn't, being a content creator, having millions of fans? And having bunch of friends! His two best friends, Tubbo and Ranboo are always there for him.
And don't forget about his big brother! Wilbur always helps him, whenever Tommy needs it. They really are brothers in everything but blood.
And no, Tommy is a Big Man, he won't admit that he likes it when Wilbur ruffles his hair, hugs him or calls him pet names. Because obviously he doesn't!
Yeah, that's a lie. And he needs help. His methods of coping aren't healthy. Like, at all.

“Tommy,” Technoblade breathes his name softly, and Tommy’s surprised the wind didn’t sweep it away. He hasn’t heard his name said so… tenderly like that in a while; it makes Tommy’s shoulders slump a little. “You’re soakin’ wet.” Techno points out helpfully. Tommy feels the chill engrave in his skin a little deeper as he’s reminded.
“I didn’t know where else to go.” Tommy confesses before he can think, eyes not breaking away from Techno’s. They sting but it’s just from the cold air, nothing else. Tommy swears his gaze is the only thing keeping his feet planted to the porch instead of booking it in the opposite direction. Techno’s gaze unfocuses for a beat before he moves to the side, allowing Tommy to come in. Even the whispers in the back of his mind— the voices that tell him that it’s just a taunt, that Techno will slam the door the second Tommy moves towards it— quiet in his brother’s presence as he walks in.
or, Tommy runs away from his Exile to Technoblade's house, but instead of hiding... he knocks.

Tommy hadn't been good enough to save his best friend when they went swimming in his parents' lake all those years ago. Ever since that day he had promised himself—and his indebt mother—that he wouldn't let it happen again. He would become a lifeguard. Tommy just started work at an inflatable waterpark called Splashberg where he intended to make up for the life he lost.
