I like writing vague 'smokey smut' that includes a lot of sensation and pretty words rather than outright dirty details. I mean, I definitely write those too, but honestly, this is more satisfying for me.
This isn't very long and that's the way I like it. Written for my friend who plays Nadir's Adam.

Delara Auzenne is the mole inside the Prague branch of Task Force 29. Sent as Adam Jensen's ward, she finds herself constantly stonewalled by his hostility and is forced to back off to try another tactic. But when her attempt to dig into Jim Miller also goes too slowly for her liking, she instead, reluctantly, turns her attention to Duncan MacReady.
After all, she's the only way information gets out of TF29 when Miller doesn't talk.
It really was just a job.

Recuperation after the Orchid is slow. And when he says “slow,” he means “bloody agonising and frustrating as hell.” Not that he says that, especially when he sends messages to Mac asking if he can at least do damn paperwork at home, he’s not an invalid.
When Mac agreed to send a parcel, he expected a courier. Something quick and impersonal. Instead, when he answers the buzz of the intercom, he gets a familiar rough-as-gravel voice. “Macready sent me, sir.”
