Wu Xie was to be wedded to the Zhang’s family patriarch as a sign of their mutual trust and cooperation in the future. It was certain to be beneficial for both families, and it was a happy collaboration. Both families heartily agreed to the marriage. There were no ill feelings or underlying plots from neither side.
The truth was, Wu Xie was offered to the Zhang family as a hostage and example for their promise, for in exchange the cooperation of both sides to a bigger goal. While he was offered riches and treasures unfathomable, it was all but a cover for his real purpose. Insurance; for when it all went wrong.Before tombs were raided and legends were made, there was only an arranged marriage between a young Wu heir and the silent patriarch from the Zhang family.

Li Nezha raised his head. A little white dragon coiled around his wrist chirps cheerfully, uncaring of the solemn nature of this ceremony.

Then, as if unsure if he made himself clear, the war god stands, gaze steely. “I meant to say, his hand in marriage.”

He pulled the bedside table open, saw the kaleidoscope lying there, and barely stopped himself from throwing it at the wall.
By the time he finally stumbled into sleep, he'd forgotten all about dropping it on the bed.

Two sovereigns of their respective kingdoms put aside their differences to discuss how to confront a primordial evil, the Lich. Alternatively, in which Marshall Lee and Prince Gumball share a fleeting moment before Marshall goes into the battle that will change the fate of their world. Afterall, it’s not everyday that his bubblegum prince worries about him.
