Summary
This was the part where he could watch Akaashi’s eyes while he did it, while Akaashi was still staring at him with that alluring half-lidded gaze that got him in trouble so often with his management, he was flirting, he was bored, he was a steely, calculating cat deciding whether or not to go after a mouse. Bokuto didn’t care if Akaashi was looking at him with contempt or fondness. He just wanted those eyes on him.

Bokuto looks up at him, his expression wide and innocent. “Akaashi having an off day? Is such a thing possible? You look like you could never make a mistake. I’ve seen your school work, you know. It’s alarming how neat your writing is. And on the court, you’re always focused.”
“Of course I make mistakes, Bokuto-san. Sometimes… sometimes big mistakes.” His voice almost catches and he swallows and turns away.
